I wanted to renovate my small 1930s home which has been in our family since my grandmother had it built. Because of all the memories attached to the house, I wanted to keep the renovation as close to the original as possible. Nives took this wish into account even though I knew it was almost impossible since the house was still in its 1930s condition and my budget was limited. Her creative and practical ideas ensured that my childhood home was still in evidence while adding a deck, a new bedroom and bathroom and making the existing building as comfortable as a new, modern home.
Nives, Themi and Mary were extremely approachable and helpful, answering my questions promptly and ensuring the work progressed accordingly. I live in North Queensland, so most of our contact was done by telephone or email. I received regular updates by email and phone calls with a few trips to Brisbane when face-to-face meetings were required. Through all of this, I was very grateful for Nives advice and creative ideas.
